UNDERSTAND YOUR GRAND CARAVAN EX
Grand Caravan EX | Pilot Systems & Cockpit Awareness
8 modules
Connected aircraft systems
77 components
Purpose, relationships and indications
24 practice cases
Predict, compare and explain
Learn how the Grand Caravan EX airframe, fuel, PT6A-140 engine, propeller, electrical distribution, flight controls, Garmin G1000, air-data, ice-protection and optional cabin systems work together. Read a 50-page handbook, explore 77 components and visual relationship maps, then work through 24 prediction-and-explanation cases. A separate 40-question final requires 32 correct answers (80%). This ground systems course uses the identified May 2013 POH and matched checklist study configuration, with optional equipment identified. It does not qualify a pilot for aircraft operation or replace current aircraft-approved flight documents.
What's included?
-
8 connected systems modules
-
Completion certificate
-
40-question final
-
24 prediction-and-explanation cases
-
50-page illustrated student handbook
Understand how systems work together
Follow the path from source to control, component, indication and aircraft effect. Select components to learn their purpose and connections, then use cockpit and physical observations to distinguish what the evidence supports.
Practice reasoning with explained feedback
Predict a system response, compare the supplied observation, and explain the result in each of 24 paired cases. Every answer choice has teaching feedback. Complete all component explorations and supported case interpretations, then pass the independent 40-question final at 80% to earn a course completion certificate. This is systems ground study for the Grand Caravan EX PT6A-140/G1000 configuration; operating procedures and performance qualification are outside this course.
