King Air 200/B200 Flight Controls and Rigging Diagnostics

10 lessons

Trace the actual controls, tabs and protection paths

10 practice cases

Interpret two related decisions in each fault case

3 measured jobs

Complete five supported fields in each job
WWAOG King Air 200/B200 flight-controls course
Trace manual aileron, elevator and rudder controls, separate trim drives, conventional rudder assistance and the four-flap protection system. A 39-page handbook and clickable visual workshop connect ten lesson decisions, ten paired fault cases and three independent five-field rigging jobs. Includes a separate 40-question final at 80%. A real B200GTI-layout cockpit photo guide locates the control wheels, electric trim, rudder trim and flap controls; a named mechanical roll-control flow explains the normal aileron response.

What's included?

  • 10 system lessons with required decisions
  • 10 two-part fault-isolation cases
  • 3 independent five-field measured jobs
  • 40-question final · 80% to pass
  • 39-page illustrated study handbook

Understand what moves the surface

Follow the T-column, fuselage and wing cables, bellcranks, push-pull rods and stops. Trace separate pedestal trim drums to their tab actuators and distinguish conventional pneumatic assist from the manual rudder path. Change four supplied flap angles and the motor/control/protection conditions. Observe same-wing split, common motor permission and the separate right-inboard potentiometer indication. The original fixture uses a stated teaching trip setting; it does not simulate aircraft motion.

Make the measured comparison

Keep endpoint angle, aileron differential, wheel/pedal force, pinned lost motion, signed tab free play, final elevator cable average and bobweight-link geometry with their actual test conditions. Use the installed branch rather than a generic King Air limit. Systems and maintenance-record training for the identified King Air 200/B200 branches of Maintenance Manual 101-590010-19 Chapter 27, supplied effective-page list November 1, 2024. Aircraft serial, S.I. 0960, installed bobweight/flap-safety kits and avionics configuration select the task. The study edition does not establish current aircraft applicability; physical rigging uses current controlled instructions, task equipment and qualified personnel. Course completion records online system study and assessment. Physical rigging competence, maintenance authorization and regulatory qualification are separate.
