Understand the detector and find its connections

Follow the engine sensing tube to the pneumatic responder and its separate integrity/alarm contacts. Locate the UN007 nose detector, UC006–UC010 cabin detectors and their own power circuits. Read detector LED states in the named inspection rather than treating every green or red light as the same condition. Separate the ENG FIRE command, BOTTLE ARMED discharge control, cockpit FUEL SHUT OFF message and VD004/VE004 actuator movement. Task-specific examples compare physical valve OPEN/CLOSED/OPEN motion with separate generator, airflow and engine-rundown observations.

Distinguish detection checks from warning-command measurements

Compare the rotary TEST switch response with separate aerosol checks at each installed cabin detector. The qualified warning-voltage example identifies the disconnected PD034/PE034 harness and keeps the held and released voltage criteria separate from live cartridge terminals. Locate the engine bottle, pressure indication, aft and forward nozzles and their named union connections. Keep bottle low-pressure response, agent charge and life-cycle requirements distinct. Interpret portable-extinguisher location, placard and weight records, then retain protection, mounting, reconnection and restoration checks.
