Compare command, communication and physical response
Understand the described Caravan GFC 700 installation, flight-director logic, servo drive, pitch trim and disconnect functions. Includes a 25-page handbook, interactive workbench, six prediction exercises, eight two-stage cases, a measurement bench and a 40-question final.

What's included?

  • 8 focused lessons
  • Completion certificate
  • 40-question final
  • 8 guided fault cases
  • 25-page handbook

Understand the connected system

Trace the GFC 700 functions distributed across the GIA computers, PFDs, GMC controller and GSA servos. Distinguish GSA actuators from GSM mounts, understand mode permissions and startup tests, and connect an electrical command with trim-wheel and control-surface response. Applies to the identified G1000/GFC 700 installation; earlier KFC-225 systems use different instructions.

Practise defensible fault isolation

Use six prediction-and-Apply exercises, a GSM 86 override observation bench, eight two-stage diagnostic cases and a twelve-decision independent review. Complete all lab requirements and pass the 40-question final at 80%. Study source: supplied Cessna D2078 Revision 42, 1 June 2024. Current aircraft-effective instructions govern physical work. Online completion is separate from observed practical qualification.
