Understand the connected system
Trace ground loads through tires, bearings and spring attachments. Connect pedal input to hydraulic pressure, wheel-brake friction and release. Explain nose support, steering neutral and shimmy damping, with identified earlier Caravan and Grand Caravan EX differences.
Practise defensible fault isolation
Use six prediction-and-Apply exercises, tire and brake measurement benches, 12 diagnostic cases and an independent review. Complete the lab and pass the 40-question final at 80%. Study source: Cessna D2078-42-13, Revision 42, 1 June 2024, ATA 32. Covers landplane 208/208B architecture; float and modified installations require applicable data. Use current aircraft-effective instructions for practical work. Online completion is separate from observed practical qualification.
