Understand the connected system
Follow the matched VHF blades and coupler to both GIA navigation receivers, then trace selected CDI, bearing and audio consumers. Compare the separate GPS antenna and receiver paths, acquisition status, accuracy evidence and optional XM interface. Learn why one normal screen or a green status entry does not prove every function.
Practise defensible fault isolation
Complete six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, the required dual GPS accuracy bench and twelve independent decisions. Complete all 24 lab requirements and pass a separate 40-question final at 80%. Based on the supplied Cessna D2078 Revision 42 compilation; current aircraft-effective tasks govern physical work.
