TRACE MOVEMENT, LOCKS AND BRAKE RESPONSE
WWAOG Technical Academy
ATA 32 • King Air B300/B300C & identified ER equipment
TM-068 | King Air Landing Gear, Brakes & Steering Diagnostics
Connected gear architecture
Normal and alternate hydraulics, mechanical locks and indication
Required measurement bench
Compare paired tire pressures and hardware-specific brake wear
Evidence before replacement
Separate gear movement, lock proof, brake release and steering
Understand B300/B300C landing gear, separate brake hydraulics, tire condition and nose steering. Includes a 25-page handbook, eight connected lessons, six prediction exercises, eight two-stage cases and a 40-question final. Distinguish standard and identified ER hardware before comparing limits.
What's included?
-
8 focused lessons
-
Completion certificate
-
40-question final
-
8 guided fault cases
-
25-page handbook
Understand the connected system
Trace the powerpack, selector, actuators, alternate handpump and physical downlocks. Connect selector switches and warning evidence with actual gear position, then follow separate brake supply, pedal generation, parking-pressure retention and release. Interpret dual-tire and steering findings independently.
Practise defensible fault isolation
Complete six prediction-and-Apply exercises, eight two-stage cases, the required tire-and-brake evidence bench and twelve independent decisions. Complete all 24 lab requirements and pass the separate 40-question final at 80%. Based on the supplied 130-590031-11 Chapter 32 with effective-page list 1 November 2025; aircraft-effective tasks govern physical work.
